Some Common Attacks

Phishing and spear phishing attacks -  Phishing attack is the practice of sending emails that appear to be from trusted sources with the goal of gaining personal information or influencing  users to do something.


Password attack - Often achieved using Brute-Force attacks that guess your password/s and gain access to your secured accounts and data.


Malware attack - Malicious software that is installed on to your computers and or systems without your consent. Often used to obtain data and/or disrupt your business.


Ransomware - Ransomware is a form of malware that is used to block access to your data with the intention of exploiting you and your business in the form of ransom payments.


Man-in-the-middle attack - This is when an attacker interferes in the communications between one point and another on your network often spoofing one end to steal sensitive data.
